Welcome!

Pastor Kristi Beebe

With joy, Pastor Kristi began serving Atonement Lutheran on August 23, 2017. Together we have been journeying in faith, mission, and ministry with the Atonement congregation and the community, as together we serve Jesus and others. Ordained since May 1998, her calls included: Redevelopment & Mission Development Pastor; Trauma One Hospital & Flight for Life Chaplain; and Assistant to the Bishop for Congregational Life & Outdoor Ministry & Youth Ministry Program Development. Her husband Scott, a Lutheran pastor in Vail/Beaver Creek; two magnificent daughters: Jasmine & Tiffany, both in college; black diamond mogul skiing, climbing mountains, golfing, and traveling bring Pastor Kristi much delight!

YOU ARE INVITED

Faith

The mission of Atonement Lutheran Church is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ - birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension.

This is a shared ministry of staff and laity.

We are a community that provides time and space for worship, learning and administration of the sacraments.

We witness by reaching out with God's love. We accept responsibility for ministry to the spiritual and physical needs of our congregation, community and

people of the world.

Scripture

"For it is by grace you have been saved,

through faith – and this not from yourselves,

it is the gift of God – not by works,

so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8,9

Grace Alone

What do Lutherans mean by “grace alone”?
It means to know that we are at peace with God because of God, as the Bible says:

"There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:22-24

What to Expect

Youth Ministry

Youth is a unique period of life, one filled with exploration, discovery, excitement and fulfillment. The Church Youth Ministry provides a nurturing, loving environment for young people exploring the world. It is a safe place where faith guides exploration and self-discovery.

We are here!

Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry at Atonement Lutheran Church is a parent-led collaborative where the focus is on Jesus and each other.

Between Labor Day and Memorial Day, the children are brought downstairs during the sermon at the 9:00 Praise Service, to learn about God with a Bible based curriculum study guide from Spark. Parents take turns teaching the kids and during the Christmas season, work together to put on a Christmas program for the congregation.

During the summer months, kids are welcome to stay in the sanctuary where there are toys, books and coloring books. At the end of every service, the kids are encouraged to grab instruments and participate in the final praise song- a tradition that brings smiles to the whole congregation!
